David convinced a Supreme Court justice to reverse a NYC Housing Authority administrative law judge’s decision evicting a young Brooklyn family from their home in Gluck v. NYCHA. The wife claimed the right to remain in the apartment as a family member. The ALJ determined that the client had obtained the apartment via fraud after previously ruling that she would not consider the issue of fraud. Supreme Court Justice Lucy Billings determined this was error, vacated the eviction and ordered a new hearing.
